Clean Water in Your Home

Water is one of the most basic yet essential resources that anyone needs for survival. The human body is made up of 70% water which flows through our cells and organs. Therefore, it needs to be free from all sorts of impurities and harmful substances.

From flushing out toxins and keeping us hydrated to aiding digestion and sending nutrition throughout the body, clean water performs infinite vital functions for a healthy life. However, no matter how important clean water is for our well-being, around 2.2 billion people are still deprived of this basic necessity.

In this blog, we will discuss why clean water holds the utmost importance in your lives and homes.

Improves Sanitization

There are several tasks carried out at home every day that require clean water, not as a luxury but as an essential resource.

Cooking

Safe drinking water is more than what we pour into our glasses. It is the same source that goes into our pots and stoves. The pandemic has made cooking at home a lot more common in the past two years.

Even if you boil water, contaminants like lead are still left. Therefore, to reduce the risk of spreading diseases, having clean water for cooking is a must.

Cleaning

Washing clothes, taking a shower, or cleaning the house with contaminated water can become the reason behind several health issues. Similarly, watering your plants and garden with unclean water or hydrating your pets can also result in fatal illnesses.

This makes it evident that clean water for your home is directly related to a healthy lifestyle.

Lowers The Chance Of Falling Ill

Generally, impure water doesn’t taste very good. This causes people to stop drinking the required amount of water or simply switch from water to fizzy and sugary drinks. Both of these cases carry multiple health risks, such as dehydration, constipation, and abdominal pain.

Drinking at least 2 liters of clean water daily can help avoid many complications, including:

  • Heart diseases: The circulatory system needs adequate amounts of water. Otherwise, blood pressure rises, and the heart needs to work harder, which increases the risk of a heart attack.
  • Kidney failure: Fluid intake helps oxygenate the blood. The kidneys require oxygenated blood to filter waste. Without enough water, the filtering process loses efficiency, and the organs suffer.
  • Rising body temperature: Water helps regulate the body’s temperature. Without that, you may face heat strokes that may be fatal.

Acts As A Source of Nourishment

Every water source has slight differences, but most will contain the following nutrients:

  • Iron
  • Magnesium
  • Calcium
  • Potassium

Below, we’ve shortlisted a few points that emphasize the incredible and far-reaching benefits provided by clean water.

  • Provides lubrication for body joints
  • Helps to prevent fatigue and tiredness
  • Removes waste from the body in the form of urine and sweat
